The mount of Rodopi crosses its borders from the north side and separates it from Bulgaria.
It includes the counties of Evros, Rodopi and Xanthi. Years ago it constituted the end of the Greek land but today it can be considered as the link between Greece and the neighboring people as well as a friendship bridge among them.
